The information you receive from our website or staff is of a general nature and should not replace specific advice from a qualified physician.

By accepting these terms, you acknowledge the general business conditions and privacy policy, enabling you to access our portal. Additionally, by agreeing to the terms of use, you waive the right to initiate legal proceedings for any potential material or non-material damage resulting from your use of Bookadok services or the information provided. 

Remember that the terms of use constitute an agreement between “You” (as a user of our services) and the company Bookadok ("Bookadok", "we", "us"), the website administrator www.bookadok.com ("site") and related websites, applications and services provided by the Bookadok company. These conditions, along with our privacy policy, govern the use of our services, regardless of whether you’ve created an account on our portal.

I) ABOUT THE BOOKADOK PLATFORM

Bookadok is an online platform focused on medical tourism (hereinafter referred to as the "platform"). It offers platform users (hereinafter referred to as the "user") comprehensive information about a wide range of service providers. These include providers of medical, wellness, aesthetic, and dental services, as well as transportation, accommodation, insurance, local tours, and translation services (collectively referred to as "service providers").

As an intermediary, Bookadok facilitates connections between potential users (referred to as “You”) and medical, dental and wellness institutions that provide health, dental and wellness services. However, it’s important to note that Bookadok platform bears no direct responsibility for the following matters: 

1. For services performed and products offered by service providers or other business partners;

2. For the cancellation of an appointment by the service provider, as well as for any missed, wrongly or double-booked appointment or otherwise unrealized scheduled appointment;

3. For incorrectly billed scheduled services. All payments are made outside the scope of our service and are made directly with the service provider;

4. To guarantee the availability of providers of health and other services listed on the platform;

5. For data accuracy. Some information (including prices, service availability and ratings) about service providers on our platform may not always be accurate. The information about the service providers displayed on our platform is based on the information provided by the service providers themselves, who are the owners of their profiles on the platform. Information about service providers on the portal is carefully analyzed, monitored and updated by the platform administrator, but the Bookadok platform does not guarantee that all the information provided by service providers is comprehensive and accurate, and that all changes are updated. The Bookadok platform is not responsible for any errors, inaccurate, misleading or false information provided by service providers on their profiles.

6. For any (direct, indirect, consequential or punitive) damages, losses or expenses incurred or paid by you in accordance with, due to or in connection with the use, inability to use or delay of the platform.

7. For any type of damage caused by the use of our partners’ services.

8. For any (personal) injury, death, property damage or other (direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive) damages, losses or expenses suffered or paid by you, whether due to (statutory) acts, mistakes, breaches, (gross) negligence, willful misconduct, concealment of information, omission, misrepresentation, criminal offense or misdemeanor attributable (in part or in whole) to that service provider or any of its other business partners (its employees, directors, officers, representatives or partner companies) , whose products or services (directly or indirectly) are available or offered and promoted on the platform, including any (partial) cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or any other event beyond control.

 Bookadok does not have the role of a service or product provider but has the role of "intermediary" between "You" as a user of the service and medical and other institutions as a "service provider".

II) SERVICES

1. BOOKADOK IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE

As previously stated, Bookadok is not a medical provider, nor is it a substitute for medical advice from qualified physicians. Bookadok acts as an intermediary, facilitating connections between potential users and professional medical & wellness service providers, therefore Bookadok does not bear any type of responsibility for any type of damage caused by the use of medical & wellness services.

 2. THE COSTS OF HEALTH AND OTHER SERVICES ARE PAID BY THE USER DIRECTLY TO THE SERVICE PROVIDER

Bookadok services are completely FREE for users. However, users are responsible for covering the costs of any medical, dental, wellness, transportation, translation, insurance, and travel services arranged through the platform. These fees are set by the service providers. 

All services booked via Bookadok are for personal use only and should not be transferred to third parties. Additionally, due to potential overbooking by providers, some services may occasionally be unavailable, which is outside of Bookadok's control.

3. BOOKADOK DOES NOT REFER USERS TO SPECIFIC SERVICE PROVIDER

The Bookadok platform does not provide direct recommendations for specific service providers. Instead, it serves as an information hub, presenting users with a wide array of options based on their preferences, including factors like service cost, availability, location, and medical requirements. This system enables users to make independent, informed decisions without receiving explicit endorsements from the platform. Each user is presented with a list of service providers, detailing their specializations, pricing structures, and other relevant information, ensuring transparency and choice.

 4. THE CHOICE OF HEALTH AND OTHER SERVICES IS UP TO THE USER

 As a user of the Bookadok platform, you are fully empowered to select services that align with your preferences and needs. However, it is important to note that Bookadok assumes no responsibility for the quality or extent of services rendered by the chosen service providers. The responsibility for evaluating and selecting a provider lies with you. We encourage making informed and thoughtful choices to ensure the services meet your expectations and needs.

 5. BOOKADOK PERFORMS THE APPOINTMENT BOOKING PROCESS

The Bookadok platform acts as a mediator between users and service providers, streamlining appointment bookings and facilitating communication. By offering a seamless, digital reservation process, Bookadok eliminates the need for time-consuming phone calls or in-person visits. This efficient system enhances time management for users while ensuring quick access to health services and other professional offerings. The platform simplifies the connection between users and service providers, helping users make appointments with ease while ensuring clear communication.

 6. PROVISION OF OTHER TYPES OF SERVICES

Bookadok, a comprehensive platform for medical services, offers a wide array of support beyond just appointment bookings, especially for those seeking treatment abroad. Services include: • Airfare and accommodation booking • Visa assistance (if needed) • Travel insurance guidance • Organizing airport transfers and local transportation • Translation services • Help with local tourist tours *It is important to note that the additional services provided by Bookadok, such as air ticket booking, visa assistance, transportation, and local tours, are facilitated through partnerships with local service providers or third-party companies (e.g., airlines, embassies, insurance companies). Payment for these services is made directly to the respective providers. This structure allows patients to benefit from seamless arrangements while undergoing medical treatment abroad, with Bookadok ensuring a stress-free experience by coordinating logistics without directly handling payments. This approach ensures efficiency and clarity throughout the process.

 III) RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE USER

1) CONSENT ON SHARING USERS' PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THE BOOKADOK PLATFORM FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES

A user who wants to schedule a specific medical service through Bookadok platform is obliged to share the following information and documents with Bookadok:

• Full name and surname
• Gender
• Date of Birth
• Place of birth
• Country of residence
• Contact phone
• E-mail address (to send you all the appointment details)
• Signed "Consent Document" where the user confirms that he agrees with Bookadok to share confidential information with the service provider before booking an appointment, together with the accepted "Privacy Policy" and "Terms of Use" of the Bookadok platform.

In case the user decides to undergo treatment abroad and requires Bookadok to provide the following services such as: 

• Air ticket booking
• Accommodation booking
• Provision of travel insurance 
• Visa application assistance 
• Transportation services
• Organization of sightseeing tours, 

the user is obliged to share the following documents with Bookadok: 

• A copy of a valid passport
• A copy of the ID card 
• A copy of health insurance card (if necessary) 

If a user requests services through Bookadok for a third party or family members, they must provide the required documents for each individual along with signed consent forms to facilitate the booking process. 

For translation services of medical documents (e.g., lab results, specialist reports), the user must sign a "Consent Form" authorizing Bookadok to share these documents with a translation agency. This agency may be either an independent service provider or a division within the chosen medical clinic. This ensures compliance with privacy regulations while facilitating the translation process. 

2) USE OF PROMO CODE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES 

In cases where Bookadok promotes certain service packages with promotional codes, users can apply these codes for specific treatments, granting them discounts as per agreements between the platform and service providers. These codes are issued exclusively to the user, based on a loyalty program or business agreements. Sharing, misuse, or illegal use of the codes may result in account suspension and potential legal action, including recovery of damages. Users must adhere strictly to the platform's terms regarding promo code use. 

3) APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION 

After selecting a service provider, Bookadok will contact the provider to verify available appointment slots and communicate these options to the user. The user is then required to promptly confirm the preferred appointment within a 12-hour window to ensure timely booking. This response timeframe is crucial to securing the appointment, as the service provider’s availability may change. Failing to confirm within the stipulated period could result in the loss of the preferred timeslot, requiring rescheduling or new availability inquiries. 

4) APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING 

If any unforeseen circumstances arise, it is the user’s responsibility to promptly notify Bookadok regarding any changes or cancellations to their appointment. This notification should occur at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. 

By doing so, Bookadok can efficiently liaise with the service provider and secure an alternative available appointment for the user, or, in the case of cancellation, promptly inform the service provider about the change.

5) FAILURE TO ATTEND THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT 

Once the user confirms their treatment reservation, it is crucial to arrive at the appointed location promptly. If unable to attend, the user must notify Bookadok or the service provider at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in penalties for non-attendance. It is also important to note that Bookadok does not take responsibility for any additional costs imposed by the service provider due to the user’s failure to appear. Being timely and proactive ensures a smooth experience and avoids unnecessary charges. 

6) PAYMENT FOR THE SERVICES TO THE CHOSEN SERVICE PROVIDER 

When using the Bookadok platform, the user pays the price of the scheduled service directly to the chosen service provider (such as medical institutions, wellness centers, dental clinics, hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, etc.). Upon arriving at the scheduled appointment with the service provider, the user settles the payment for the specific service received. 

The Bookadok platform itself is completely free for users. Users do not incur any charges or compensation for utilizing Bookadok services. Users pay nothing for the following services offered by Bookadok: 

• Appointment booking: Users can conveniently book appointments with service providers through the platform. 

• Logistics support: Bookadok assists in organizing entire medical trips, ensuring a seamless experience for users. 

Various services are available through Bookadok’s business partners, with payments made directly to the service providers. Here are the specific services and their payment details: 

 1. Flight booking: To book plane tickets through the Bookadok platform, users can select flights based on destination, travel dates, and airline preferences. Once a suitable flight is found, the user pays directly to the airline, which is the service provider in this case. Bookadok facilitates the process but does not handle the payment directly, ensuring a straightforward transaction between the user and the airline. 

2. Accommodation booking: Through the Bookadok platform, users can conveniently book accommodation in a variety of options, such as hotels, apartments, or other lodging facilities. The booking process is facilitated by Bookadok, but users are required to pay directly to the accommodation provider at the agreed-upon rate. This system ensures a smooth transaction between the user and the accommodation provider, while Bookadok simplifies the booking process. 

3. Transportation booking: Bookadok offers a transportation booking service that allows users to arrange various forms of transport, including taxis, transfers, or car rentals. The pricing for these services is determined by the type of transport selected and the distance traveled. After selecting the preferred transportation option, users pay directly to the transport service provider, ensuring a transparent and streamlined process between the user and the transportation carrier.

4. Sightseeing tours arrangements: Bookadok offers sightseeing tour arrangements for users seeking organized trips that include tours and activities. The price of these tours varies depending on the destination, the specific activities included, and the overall content of the arrangement. Once a suitable travel package is selected, users make payments directly to the travel agency, which serves as the service provider in this case. This ensures a straightforward and hassle-free process for users while they enjoy their tours and activities. 

5. Provision of insurance: Travel insurance is essential for ensuring a safe and worry-free trip. Bookadok assists users in selecting appropriate travel insurance based on the coverage required and the duration of their journey. The cost of the insurance varies depending on these factors, and payment is made directly to the selected insurance company, ensuring that users are fully covered for any medical or travel-related contingencies during their medical tourism journey. 

6. Provision of translation services: If you require translation assistance during your trip or need help with translating medical documents, Bookadok can facilitate these services. The cost of translation will depend on factors such as the language, duration, and specific requirements. Payment for these services is made directly to the translation agency or medical institution offering the translation, ensuring clear communication and accuracy in your medical journey. 

*Note: The prices of above services offered by different service providers, can vary and depend on several factors. When users receive offers, the prices displayed are directly from the service provider. Bookadok will promptly inform you about the currency and payment options to keep you informed. If you have a promotional code assigned by Bookadok based on the loyalty program or a business cooperation agreement with a third party, you can receive a discount on the amount paid during the reservation process. 

The specific discount amount is defined by the business cooperation agreement or the loyalty program of the Bookadok platform. When you arrive at your scheduled appointment with the service provider, you’ll pay the reduced price directly to them. In case of any misunderstanding regarding the agreed-upon and confirmed reservation prices, if the service provider charges a different amount, you have an obligation to inform Bookadok in writing within 72 hours of the incident.

 IV) COMMUNICATION CHANNELS AND PRIVACY POLICY 

When you visit and use the Bookadok platform, you implicitly agree to the use of the data you’ve provided as a user of this service and its associated services. Based on the information you’ve shared with the Bookadok team, you consent to receive notifications through the following channels: 

1. Email (notifications related to scheduled medical examinations, treatments, and confirmation of reservations for other services); 

2. SMS (notifications about scheduled medical appointments, treatments, and reservation confirmations of other services); 

 3. Newsletter (you have the option to unsubscribe from our newsletter). 

V) THE USER OF THE BOOKADOK PLATFORM ACCEPTS THE FOLLOWING TERMS

1. Use at Your Own Risk. Users should be aware that they use the Bookadok platform at their own risk. 

2. Third-Party Content and Services. The services and content on Bookadok are provided by third parties. Bookadok acts as a facilitator but does not offer medical advice or healthcare-related information. 

3. No Guarantees. Bookadok does not guarantee the following: 

-  Suitability of content on the service. 

-  The eligibility or accuracy of services offered by healthcare providers listed on the site. 

-  Qualification of health care providers or that the health care provider has the necessary licenses and permits to legally practice and provide health care services. All such information on the service is provided by the healthcare provider. 

-  The quality of services rendered by healthcare or other service providers. 

-  The accuracy or reliability of the address book or booking calendar information provided on the platform. 

-  Liability. Bookadok is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the use of its platform, whether directly or indirectly, including through negligence. The platform disclaims liability for any consequences arising from user interactions with the system. 

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any mandatory legal obligations or requirements. 

 

VI) THE USER OF THE BOOKADOK PLATFORM ACKNOWLEDGES

1. You confirm that you are over 18 years old and that all the information you have provided is accurate. 

2. You agree to use the Bookadok platform in accordance with the law and refrain from: 

o Posting or transmitting any material that infringes on the rights of others, is illegal, threatening, defamatory, violates privacy or publicity rights, is vulgar, obscene, contains hate speech, or is racially or ethnically inappropriate. 

o Encouraging behavior that violates laws and regulations. 

o Harming children in any way. o Impersonating others. 

o Uploading, posting, transmitting, or making available content that infringes on the rights of another party, including trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property rights. 

o Using the Bookadok website for unauthorized advertising. 

3. You acknowledge your right to restrict data processing. 

4. You commit not to schedule appointments through the Bookadok platform unless you genuinely intend to use the services. 

VII) BOOKADOK PLATFORM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO

1. Access Restriction or Termination. Bookadok reserves the right to restrict or terminate a user’s access to any of its services without prior notice under certain circumstances: 

o If a user fails to attend scheduled appointments multiple times without proper cancellation. o If a user intentionally makes false appointments. 

o If there is a well-founded suspicion that a user does not exist or provided incorrect data during registration. 

2. Service Modification, Suspension, or Cancellation. Bookadok may modify, suspend, or cancel any of its services at any time. 

3. Changes to Terms and Conditions. Bookadok can change or modify any part of its terms and conditions or add new terms. Such changes are effective immediately upon notice, which may be through website postings, electronic mail, or other reasonable means.
