Dr. Michalis Bobotis is a UK-trained obstetrician-gynecologist and fertility specialist with over 30 years of clinical experience. He is the founder and scientific director of Biodimiourgia IVF Centre in Athens, Greece, where he leads a team specializing in personalized fertility care, minimally invasive surgery, and advanced assisted reproduction techniques. Dr. Bobotis graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens in 1987. He completed his OB/GYN specialty training in leading UK hospitals, including Manchester St Mary’s, Hope Hospital, and Singleton Hospital in Wales. In 1994, he was awarded membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). He further specialized in IVF and endoscopic surgery during his time in the UK. Since returning to Greece, Dr. Bobotis has worked with top fertility centers including IASO, MITERA, and LITO, and served on the Board of Directors of IASO Clinic (2000–2003). He is a frequent speaker at international medical conferences and a member of ESHRE, the Hellenic Society for Reproductive Medicine (ELEYA), and the Hellenic Robotic Gynecological Society (HERGS).

With over 10 years of experience in some of the top fertility clinics in Greece and Cyprus, Andreas plays a key role in helping couples build families through advanced assisted reproduction technologies. He has worked as a clinical embryologist since 2013, and has led laboratory teams at MIYA Evgonia and MIYA Biodemiourgia, ensuring that every IVF procedure is performed to the highest standards of care and precision. His work focuses on the delicate process of fertilization, embryo development, and laboratory quality, giving patients the best possible chance of success. Andreas completed his Master’s degree in Assisted Reproduction Technologies at the University of Nottingham in the UK and holds a Biology degree from the University of Athens. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in scientific research and has shared his knowledge through publications and international conferences in the field of reproductive medicine.
